Manufacturing Careers Training

Earn skills needed for in-demand, high-paying jobs.

Forget what you think you know about today’s manufacturing industry. It’s clean, high-tech and skilled workers are in high demand in our community as well as throughout Florida and the nation. In fact, the United States is the world’s largest manufacturer, offering great careers in everything from aerospace and defense to medical, electronics, transportation and more. Florida's 17,500 manufacturing companies employ more than 300,000 individuals. At any given time, there are 4,500 manufacturing jobs open in Florida and more than 600,000 nationwide.

Manufacturing is also a high-paying industry: the average manufacturing job pays $26,000 more a year in wages and benefits than the average for other nonfarm jobs.
