Interview Preparation and the Job Offer | Chiefland
Great news: your resume got you noticed! But are you ready for the interview? In today’s workplace, the competition gets keener at the interview level. In the past, a job candidate’s communication skills and personality were all it took to win over the interviewer(s). Today’s interviews are much more complicated and requires strong preparation for both in-person and virtual interviews.
This workshop arms attendees with the information needed to stand out from the competition and be remembered. Individuals will learn: strategies for responding to the “tell me about yourself” question; how to prepare for behavioral interview questions; and what questions are meaningful to ask at the end of the interview. Finally, attendees will understand the importance of a timely “thank you” response to follow up after the interview.
Attendees will walk away with a wealth of information, strategies, and tools to help them get their next job or for those currently employed a better job to advance their career!
The workshop will be held at Luther Callaway Public Library in Chiefland. No advance registration is required and walk-ins are welcomed.
