Computer proficiency is now a requirement for today’s job campaign. It’s no long just completing job applications, managing company benefits and reporting time and attendance! Being marketable means being able to work in-person and developing the technology skills to work remotely too.

Since being computer and internet capable is not a once and done process, attendees will be guided through an exploration of basic computer tasks and a variety of online resources that will support your continued learning. In addition, job candidates will hear about our CareerSource Citrus Levy Marion Online Learning Resources and Assessment Center at our 14th Street office location.

The business world is different than it was just a year ago! This workshop covers some of the essential changes that have happened in the workplace and the HR processes that shape marketing strategies for job candidates.

In the past, a job candidate’s communication skills and personality were all it took to win over the interviewer(s). Today’s interviews are much more complicated and requires strong preparation for both in-person and virtual interviews.

This workshop arms attendees with the information needed to stand out from the competition and be remembered. Individuals will learn: strategies for responding to the “tell me about yourself” question; how to prepare for behavioral interview questions; and what questions are meaningful to ask at the end of the interview. Finally, attendees will understand the importance of a timely “thank you” response to follow up after the interview.
