OCALA, Fla. (Feb. 17, 2022) – A limited number of Google Career Certificate scholarships are now available to candidates through CareerSource Citrus Levy Marion in partnership with Coursera.
Scholarships cover the entire cost of the training through Coursera, an online course provider. Learners can work at an accelerated pace and finish the coursework early or take the entire 6-month time limit to complete the materials.
Accepted candidates can choose to take an online course in Google Data Analytics, Google Project Management, Google IT Support, Google UX Design or Google IT Automation with Python. Candidates do not need a college degree or relevant experience in order to take advantage of this opportunity.
“We are happy to be working with Coursera and Google to bring these opportunities to our area,” said Dale French, executive vice president of CareerSource Citrus Levy Marion. “Not only do completers of the programs receive a credential, but also gain access to Google’s network of career opportunities.”
French added that, “skills that are learned are not only those needed by Google but are valuable to businesses and occupations across many industries.”
