Workshop helps professionals refocus on careers, reconnect with today’s job market

OCALA, Fla. (Oct. 27, 2016) – The new Talent Center at the College of Central Florida will hold a “Refocus and Reconnect” workshop for professionals designed to help them develop and deploy strategic career campaigns.

Open to highly-skilled technical and professional-level career seekers, the workshop takes place Monday, Nov. 7 and Tuesday, Nov. 8 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Talent Center, located in Suite 101 of the Enterprise Center (building 42) at CF’s Ocala campus, 3003 SW College Road.

There is no charge to attend, but participants must meet eligibility requirements.

“Even if they’ve been displaced just a short period of time, this workshop is a great way to jump back in the game,” said Jerry Flanders, Talent Center services manager and workshop coordinator. “’Refocus and Reconnect’ provides tools and techniques to help them sharpen employability skills, target their resumes and effectively market themselves to recruiters looking for their specific abilities and experience.”

Talent Center also facilitates referrals and placement.
